[Car Purchase Experience]
When buying a car, I considered the Long Range Model 3, the BYD Seal 06 GT, and the Li L6. The Tesla Long Range Model 3 was actually the most fun to drive, but the screen-based gear shifting was an immediate turn-off. The Li L6 felt like driving a boat. In the end, I chose the BYD Seal 06 GT. It has precise steering, a flexible body, a tight chassis, and clear road feel, providing a great driving and riding experience for the front seats (the rear seats are automatically ignored).
I won't talk about the appearance. Those who like it love it, while those who don't find it unappealing. I placed my order in March and personally think it offers good value for money.
The current temperature is not high, and it has a range of 500 kilometers on a full charge (I've driven 800 kilometers so far, with 90% in the city and 20% on the highway, the air conditioning set at 25 degrees and on the third gear, and the fridge running normally). I estimate it can only run about 400 kilometers in the middle of winter, which is enough for me to drive within the province.
[Driving Experience]
I've been driving it for a week. I'm not a professional and haven't driven many electric cars, but I can feel it's very sporty and easy to drive. I'm confident when changing lanes and overtaking on the highway. Many relatives and friends have come to experience it and think it's okay. I've used the Boost mode a few times on empty roads. It has stronger power than other electric cars in the same price range I've test-driven before, with a super-strong sense of g-force and a rush of adrenaline. I won't easily use the Boost mode in daily driving.
[Seating Space]
The rear seats are average for a car of this size, but they're still in the upper echelon of B-segment cars. I'm 181 cm tall and have about three fists of legroom and four fingers of headroom, which I think is more than enough. (If you prefer family-friendly space, don't look at the BYD Seal 06 GT. There are plenty of good cars out there.)
[Intelligent System]
There's no need to go into too much detail about the car's infotainment system. It allows you to keep your hands free and focus on driving while enabling seamless connectivity between the car, home, and other devices. The XiaoDi assistant has truly become a real and intelligent¹ܼÒ (Note: "¹ܼÒ" should be "butler" here, seems a small oversight in original text).
